Angelina Jolie Wears A Garter Belt In Hackers

If there is one movie from the 90s I really adore it is Hackers starring Angelina Jolie and Jonny Lee Miller. While the film was released in 1995 it kind-off feels as though it is a few years older than that. It is from a time when fashion and technology still changed so fast you can see if a movie was shot in 1991, 92′ or 94′. Anyway, I saw Hackers on VCR at a friends place in I think 97′ or so. And it was one weird experience. Even then with my limited computer skills I knew the hacking was ‘mostly‘ bullshit. But then again we were interested in Angelina Jolie. She was a young and upcoming actress who had yet to rise to celebrity fame.

Yet in Hackers she had revealed quite a bit of herself in two topless scenes. The edgy character that would become her hallmark in a few movies afterwards. She also reveals herself to be wearing a garter belt in the final shots of the movie. ‘Acid Burn’ as her character calls herself admits ‘Zero Cool’ is the better hacker and goes on a date with him wearing a dress. Had Jonny Lee Miller’s character lost the best he would have worn a dress.

They decide to go skinny dipping in a pool and as the end credits role we see Angelina Jolie underwater wearing stockings and a garter belt beneath her dress. I think it complements her femme fatale character handsomely. She appears to be wearing a premium brand garter belt, it has adjustable garter straps and metals garter tabs. It only has four garter tabs but a skinny girl can make that work. I like it.

Hackers Sequel with Angelina Jolie?

It has long been rumored a sequel to Hackers is in the works, finally that projects does appear to be proceeding. If it stars Angelina Jolie is unknown
