Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals Thigh Highs in A Perfect Murder

Gwyneth Paltrow is an absolute stunning woman, with many scenes that shows her femininity and sexiness. I will do an in-depth profile of Gwyneth one day, but today I just wanted to highlight a golden oldie, a scene from a movie released 25 years ago. A Perfect Murder was released in 1998 and besides Paltrow also stars Michael Douglas as her much older husband, Viggo Mortensen her lover and David Suchet as the investigator of her planned murder. As the title suggests murder is on somebody’s mind. Actually her husbands who wants to inherit her money after losing all of his own money on the stock market. He actually hires her loved to do the deed, but things don’t go as planned. A Perfect Murder is not a great movie, it is like so many other thrillers from the 90s, entirely predictable. However, it is worth watching for Gwyneth Paltrow who back then an upcoming actress hot from the success of Sliding Doors, Seven and of course Shakespeare In Love. The obligatory sexy scene that Gwyneth plays out is somewhat unusual. We don’t often see women wearing thigh highs in movies and series. At least we do not see the tops, more often they are worn with some type of garter belt in ‘lingerie’ scenes. What Gwyneth is wearing is quite refreshing. The scene comes at the beginning of the movie. Her character Emily has just returned from a tryst with her lover and she is preparing for a gala evening, the tension with her husband is palpable as he already knows she is having an affair. He has also decided to have her murdered for her money and seems content knowing that his financial woes will soon be over. Anyway, go check out the movie if you want, its a decent 90s flick.
