Teri Hatcher stuns in Garter Belt & Stockings in Tomorrow Never Dies

In continuation of GoldenEye here is another James Bond movie featuring a stunning actress in lingerie, this time it is Teri Hatcher who came to fame in the 90s with her role as Lois Lane in Lois & Clark. In 1997, barely 2 years after GoldenEye Tomorrow Never Dies was released. It featured yet again a stellar cast that besides Pierce Brosnan also includes Jonathan Pryce and Michelle Yeoh. Teri plays Paris Carver, the wife of villain Elliot Carver. She also happens to be James Bond former girlfriend, so it is time to rekindle a love-affair. After much banter about who left who and why James sleeps with a gun under his pillow it is time for the obligatory love scene. This includes slowly lowering of Teri’s cocktail dress revealing that besides not wearing a bra she wore a black panties, a garter belt and seamed black stockings. After Famke Janssen’s numerous orgasm sounds this was yet again a high point in the Bond series when it comes to nudity, even if it is a bit tame.

For the 90s wearing such lingerie would have been considered otherwise quite normal, even the garter belt which otherwise has only 4 straps looks quite sturdy and sensible to wear with its wide band and somewhat wide straps. Even today no doubt a few women would wear such a thing under a party dress. And yet, the naked back, the all block coloring of the lingerie, the heels and James Bond’s hand make this scene quite erotic. So I will let you enjoy it in the full. It was quite hard to obtain a decent print of the movie, most 2160p versions were notably grainy.

The scene ends with a transition to the next morning, we see Teri as Paris smoothing out her stockings and fastening her garter clips to the stockings, though they already appear fastened. Teri Hatcher was not the first choice to play Paris Carver, that would be Monica Bellucci. While Tomorrow Never Dies was well received it also feels like a rushed production and some fans still consider if the movie would have been better with Monica wearing a garter belt and stockings. She would however up the ante in 2015 when she wore a black corset and stockings for Spectre, but that is another post. As for Teri, during her best days in the 90s she was the internet’s most searched celebrity, and with all of the sexual innuendo in Lois & Clark it is not hard to see why. She would continue to play a number of hot roles including in Desperate Hosuewife’s in which she on several occasions wore lingerie.
